A Quiet & Chic Parisian Stay Near Rue Montorgueil in Paris, France
Tucked down a beautiful cobblestone street in the second district is Hôtel Bachaumont. It was quiet, luxurious, and within walking distance to many touristy and trendy areas in Paris. The second district in Paris is one of the most beautiful areas–it has some of the most elegant streets paved with cobblestone. It’s one of my favorites to walk around and there are a variety of restaurants to try.
Less than a minute’s walk from Hôtel Bachaumont is Rue Montorgueil, a mostly pedestrian street with restaurants, brasseries, bakeries, cheese/wine, and produce shops. I love to take a long walk after a flight and this was the perfect area to walk. We had a lovely dinner and walk on Rue Montorgueil the night we arrived. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DAGkqG7vrRN/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Our room at Hôtel Bachaumont accommodated us with bathrobes, slippers, Nespresso, and local teas. The interior design felt very homey with modern details and the paint colors consisted of blues, browns, & creams. There was a full window door that we opened to hear the rain during our stay. Hôtel Bachaumont was an inspiring, stylish, and comfortable stay.
