Weekend in Sedona – Beauty, Eats, Thrifting, & More
Sedona has one of the most beautiful and unique sceneries, consisting of bright orange and red rock, forest greens, bright yellow and purple wildflowers, and blue and red birds. Visiting exposed me to walk in a new color pallet for a weekend, and left me refreshed and energized.
We had the most delicious sunset dinner at Hideaway House when we arrived. In the photos below is the Watermelon Arugula appetizer with Feta cheese. And, the half Date Night Pizza (white pie, seasoned ricotta, mozzarella & dates, baked & topped with prosciutto, fresh lemon & arugula) & half Peach Pancetta pizza (white pie, seasoned ricotta, roasted peaches, black pepper, caramelized pancetta, fresh basil & mozzarella). The Date Night was our favorite.
Up the street, there are shops where you can walk around or grab dessert.
Saturday: Devil’s Bridge Hike at Sunrise.
I recommend going for sunrise to get easy parking & to experience the colors of Sedona during sunrise. Sedona was an entirely different color palette in the early morning, which inspired me. At sunrise, the rocks were shades of blues and purples which turned into bright oranges and reds as the sun rose. The sunrise, flowers, wildlife, and greenery made our start to the day beautiful and refreshing.
Breakfast: Rascals (breakfast here was delicious)
Thrift stores: Paw West Thrift Store, Twice Nice Thrift Store
Crescent Moon Picnic Park:
Sunday, we drove to Jerome for the day.
